EcoHealth has a new logo!
Our new logo retains some old and incorporates some new elements. We have retained the familiar text-logo from our journal cover, but incorporated a green theta, which is the universal symbol for ecology (coined in 1969, it conveniently combines the letters ''E' and 'O' from the words 'Environment' and 'Organism''). Our new logo forges a historical and strong link between ecology and health.
We thank our designers for their hard work on our logo.

We are excited to announce that EcoHealth has been indexed on PubMed. This is an important accomplishment for our journal, and we hope that it continues to flourish.

Dear EcoHealth One Conference Delegates and EcoHealth Supporters,
Most of us have found our way home, to all parts of the world, following the success of the EcoHealth One meeting, richer for the experience. We owe our gratitude to Jonathan Patz and his managers and volunteers at the University of Wisconsin for creating a vibrant, convivial time, and for putting together a programme with excellent and thought provoking sessions.
We also launched the new International Association for Ecology and Health , abbreviated EcoHealth, with a draft Constitution and a Charter Board, amidst a spirit of energetic enthusiasm. Bruce Wilcox has worked tirelessly, with great vision, to get this Association off the ground, and his leadership to get to this stage must be acknowledged. Our new President is Jonathan Patz, and our challenge as an Association will be to truly internationalise, and to make a difference: 'we can all see so much... together we can all do so much.' Further information on the Charter Board and the Draft Constitution, and Association updates, will soon be available at www.ecohealth.net .
Our flagship journal, EcoHealth, continues to be a strong and colourful voice. Please support it by renewing your subscriptions and submitting your manuscripts (and encouraging your colleagues to do so too!). Current and future subscriptions to the journal are now linked with membership of the Association.
Finally, we are planning for future Ecohealth meetings. The Association will hold an international event every two years, so the next will be in 2008 (and if your region would like to be considered to host this event please contact the Charter Board). In the meantime, a meeting has already been planned for 12 months from now in Melbourne , Australia : The Asia-Pacific Ecohealth Conference. See below for more information on this meeting.
Thanks again, and best wishes,
Pierre Horwitz (Vice-President, Charter Board)
