Christine Banks is the Program Assistant for the Conservation Medicine Program at Wildlife Trust, New York and Subscriptions Officer for EcoHealth. Christine received her B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University in 2003. There she completed a project on invasive plant species in the Cayuga Lake Basin during her internship at the Cornell Plantations, as well as a project on nutrient and metals standards for various compost end usages while working for the Cornell Waste Management Institute at the Center for the Environment. Though her studies mainly focused on conservation of plant species and forest ecology, she has always retained an interest in marine mammals and sea turtles. Her other interests lie in the relationships of humans to the environment and how this affects conservation.
